Te Whare Tapa Wha

 This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.

Basic Facts Term 4

 We enjoy practising our basic facts each day using Prototec.  We also try and beat the clock on paper throughout the year.  Here is my Term 4 results.  I am proud of being fast at Stage 2-3.

People and animals

 I made a special animal and people slide at home and at school. I was learning to be nice to animals and take care of them. 

Caving and Glow Worms work

 We learned lots when we were on our camp and wanted to share these with Team Maunga before they go on their trip.  For reading and writing we have been busy creating things to help Team Maunga.  Here is my work on Caving and glow worms..

Thank you Letter

A few weeks ago, instead of our camp to Coopers Beach, we went on a day trip to KawaKawa and had a sleepover at school. Our awesome parent helpers came along to supervise us. Here is a letter I wrote to say thank you.

Wild Thing Outdoor Classroom Day

In lockdown we had an outdoor classroom day.  It was a wet and wild day.  Here is a recount I wrote about it.

Lego Chicken.

During lockdown, I built a chicken out of lego to show my class.  We had been learning about chickens and had eggs in the incubator that were going to hatch into chickens soon.
